As an adult, I can still recite certain parts of this book. This is one book I find myself continuously going back to as it's always been a favorite among my children. After re-reading it last night, I can remember why the book is always a fun read. Dr. Seuss is a master at engaging children in the lyrics of his rhymes. This is the case with Green Eggs and Ham. Sam I Am asks if the Cat likes green eggs and ham, only to hear how MUCH, the cat does NOT like them. I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. The rhymes are wonderful for motivating children to read and the illustrations are adorable.
